NYS Charities Bureau - Registration of Delinquent Organizations Cancelled

http://www.charitiesnys.com/cancelledorg.jsp

Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman has announced that, as of August 28, 2012, the registrations of the organizations listed below have been cancelled because they failed to file their required annual financial reports with the Attorney General's Charities Bureau. As a result, these organizations are prohibited from soliciting charitable contributions and grants in New York or engaging in any other fundraising activities in New York. If you have information that a cancelled organization is soliciting charitable contributions in New York, please notify the Charities Bureau through our complaints page.

In order for a cancelled organization to be reinstated, it must re-register by submitting form CHAR410R with the required attachments, along with all delinquent annual financial reports and all required fees. Forms and instructions are posted here.

Members of the public are urged to review this list and consult the Attorney General's Tips on Charitable Giving before making donations.

This list is current as of August 28, 2012 and will be updated periodically. Please check our onlineCharities Registry for the most recent information concerning individual organizations.
